Fred Marvin Livingston, 74, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 23, 2012. He was born Jan. 15, 1938 in San Bernardino, Calif., and was a resident of Nevada for 37 years. Marvin was raised in Hinkley, Calif. where he met his high school sweetheart, Adrienne C. Riep, and married her at the age of 16. Marvin and Drenie raised their six children throughout California. They moved to Alamo in 1976, where he worked as a shifter and miner for the company Union Carbide. Marvin was a hard rock miner in several mining towns throughout Nevada and Alaska. His last employment was at the Nevada Test Site from 1982-1993. Marvin and Drenie shared 49 wonderful years together. Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Howard Maxwell Livingston; mother, Frances Warren; and brother, David Maxwell Livingston. Marvin was survived by his two sisters, Ruthene Grunwald and Candace Renno; his seven children and spouses, Janine Kruger, Rex Livingston, Gail Stoddard, Doug Livingston, Launa Olearain, Eva Little, and Adam Livingston. Marvin proudly had 26 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 9 a.m.-11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 27, with memorial service at 11 a.m., at Bunker Mortuary, 925 N. Las Vegas.
