Geneva S Merwin

Geneva S. Merwin, 98, of Las Vegas, passed away, April 12, 2016. She was born June 23, 1917, in Edna, Texas, and was a 67-year resident of Nevada. Geneva was an elementary school teacher for 35 years. She took great pride in recalling the names of many noteworthy citizens of Las Vegas who attanded her fourth grade classes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Merwin. She is survived by her son, Harold C. Flint of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, with service following, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
