George Lincoln Ebert, 77, passed away October 16, 2017, from complications of heart failure, in Las Vegas. Linc was born September 9, 1940, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Frederick and Delilah Ebert. In 1964, he married Renee DeValcourt. They raised their daughters and remained devoted to each other for the rest of their days. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and as a LDS missionary in Peru. Linc worked as a casino executive for most of his career. He found purpose and happiness in work and his family. His passion was for researching genealogy and teaching others to do so. He served as Bishop at the Linwood Ward in New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Renee Ebert; and his grandson, Tyler Harmer. He is survived by his daughters, Erica Dysart, Jodi Shellhorn, Tiffani Kuhl and Natalie Klekovic; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brother, Jim Ebert. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, October 27, with service following at 11 a.m., both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Burial following at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Reception following at the LDS Church, 375 N. Hollywood Blvd.
