Glad Less White born November 28, 1935 to the late Arthur Sr and Elizabeth Hicks-Taylor in Tallulah, LA. She confessed Christ at an early age. She was a member of St. James AME Zion Church in Tallulah, Louisiana. She later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she served as a member of Zion United Methodist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Marion D. Bennet. Then she served as a member at Zion Independent Church under the leadership of Reverend Emanuel Watson until her health keep her home and until her passing.
She was employed by the Tropicana Hotel and Casino for 33 years until she retired.
Glad was preceded in death by her husband Thomas White; her sisters Blondie Wilson, Cornelia Taylor, Minnie B. Harris, Lillie V. Harris, and Rosie L. Marcus; and her only brother Arthur Taylor Jr.
She leaves to cherish and carry her memories her daughter Flossie M. White-Jones (LV,WV); four grand children Rhonda R. White, Cardell D. White, Sherry L. Jones and Sonya L. Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada; three great grand children Shaquala S. Douglas, Tamaira Bell of Las Vegas, NV and Devaughn A. Simon in Minot, North Dakota; one great great grand son Dante Simon in Minot, North Dakota. Glad leaves one sister Eram Moreland of Las Vegas, Nevada, and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
