Guadalupe C. Sanchez, of Las Vegas, entered God's house Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. She was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Palau Coahuila, Mexico. She became a U.S. citizen in 1994. Guadalupe was a great woman of God, she was loved by all who knew her. A woman of noble character, her children call her blessed. She was the mother of 12 children and raised them to know the Lord. Our mother was a woman with a giving heart always helping those in need and never turning anyone away. She was a woman of great compassion and strength. A woman who would never rear to the left nor to the right, staying on that narrow road, standing by her faith and what she believed. She was a great woman of faith that before leaving this world her prayer was that all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren would be serving the Lord so that one day she would see them again. All family and friends will deeply miss her and the endearing special way she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Strength and honor are her clothing and she shall rejoice in time to come. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her beloved husband. She is survived by her 12 children, Maria Urrabazo, Ezekiel Sanchez, Beatriz Sanchez, Fidel Jose Sanchez Jr., Josefina Sifuentes, Pedro Sanchez, Elizabeth Ingrassia, David Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Linda Figueroa, Daniel Sanchez and Rebecca Cadena; 37 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved very much.
