Gwen Jeanne White

Gwen Jeanne Stevenson White, 85, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was born August 31, 1925 in Preston, Idaho.  She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served with her husband in the Family History Mission at Salt Lake CIty, Utah.  She also supportred her husband as a career military wife.  She was preceeded in death by her husband, Allen Dale White.  She is survived by her four children, Steven, Kaye Lynn, David, and Michael, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, C. Wayne and Shirley Stevenson, and brother and sister-in-law, Wilford and Doris Strobelt, and Ruth Dyer.  A viewing will be held on Friday, September 24 at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Boulevard North, Las Vegas, Nevada from 6-8 pm.  Services will be held Saturday at 11 am at the LDS Chapel at 7800 West Alta Drive in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Interment will be Monday, September 27 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
