Harland McEachern, 95, passed away peacefully Dec. 1, 2014, at Nathan Adelson, in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Alpena, Mich. He was preceded in death by his wife, June; and grandson, Tommy Robertson. He is survived by his daughter, Fran Robertson; son-in-law, Tom Robertson; and two granddaughters, Laura Falk and Ginny Miller. Harland is a veteran of World War II, where he landed on the beaches of Normandy and served the Red Ball Express. He also fought in the Korean War. In 2012, he moved with his daughter and son-in-law to Las Vegas. Services with Military Honors will be Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Heritage Gardens, Niceville, Fla.
