Harriet Popp

Harriet Popp, 77, passed away Aug. 2, 2017. She was born Sept. 10, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pa., and later moved to Las Vegas. She worked over 30 years at the Tropicana and Silverbird (Thunderbird) hotels. She is survived by her brothers, Dennis (Carol) Brand and Richard Moulton; her sister, Elaine (Dennis) LeBaron; her three children, Stephen (Kathie), Michael and Kelly; her daughter, Kris (Larry) Hannah; her 11 grandchildren, Stephanie (Jesse), Jason, Kyle (Danielle), Andrew (Brianna), Jonathan (Brigette), Rachel, Matthew (Cassara), Jessica, Tori, Caleb and Joshua; and her six great-grandchildren, Ashton, Aidan, Khloe, Austin, Ayrton and Grayson. Harriet was lovingly nicknamed "The General" for her strong will and was known by her family, friends and co-workers to be generous, loving and kind. Harriet was blessed with loving family and many other loving friends, whom she cherished and loved with all of her heart. Her beautiful smile will be ingrained in our memories forever. Services were previously held at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
