Helen Grace Failing passed away at home on December 6 at the age of 97. Helen was born
August 17, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah and grew up in Hollywood. She met her husband, Bert Failing , in Baker, California and they were married July 6, 1939. In 1947 they homesteaded in Las Vegas where they built their own home and raised a family. Helen worked in several different businesses and owned her own swimming pool company before becoming a successful real estate woman in the 1960's. She was a member of the ABWA and Eastern Star. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Bert Failing and grandson Gary Lommason. She is survivied by her son, Robert Failing, and daughter, Sharon Berger, 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12:00-4:00PM with services on Monday at 1:00PM, both at Bunkers Mortuary Chapel, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N
