Helen Delora (Link) Hittle (84), beloved wife of Robert Hittle, passed away suddenly in her home in Las Vegas NV on February 22. Helen was a loving person who gave her heart to everyone she met and especially to the children who came into her life. Her spirit will live on in the poetry she wrote and the love she shared.
She is deeply missed by her husband of 64 years Bob, children Bob, Jr. (Cindi) and Tom (Mary Lou) of Columbus OH; Michael (Karen) of Veradale WA; Marilyn (Larry Cochran) and Roger (Linda) of Las Vegas NV; and Sarina (Jungi Aguilar) of Cimarron NM and by her thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, as well as dozens of nieces and nephews.
Born March 30, 1928 in Lima, OH to Gladys and Joseph Link, she is survived by siblings Joseph Link (Lima OH), Jack Link (Dover DE), Theresa Brown (Lima OH) and Virginia Niewald (Green Cove FL).
She flew to Heaven to be reunited with her parents, sisters (Sr. Agnes Miriam, Sr. Ann Joseph, Ruth Murray, Mary Holman, Sr. Rose Seton), brothers (Bob and Bill) and grandson Rogie (Roger Hittle, III) who preceded her. As per her wishes there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be appreciated.
