Helen Mccann

HELEN MCCANN Helen McCann, 98, returned to her Heavenly Father, July 6, 2011. She was born July 16, 1912, in Upham, N.D. She was preceded in her return by husband, Lawrence; son, Duane; and daughter, Esther. She is survived by daughter, Patricia; son, Robert; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Helen worked at various hotels on the Las Vegas Strip during the 50's, 60's, 70's and early 80's, as a wardrobe mistress. A kind and loving person, she will be missed by all who knew her. A devout Lutheran, her favorite place on Earth was to be at church, and around her family. A celebration of her life and service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, what would have been her 99th birthday, at First Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 301 S. Maryland Parkway.
