Helen Ornstein

HELEN ORNSTEIN Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Helen Ornstein, of Las Vegas, passed away May 25, 2014, due to complications of Alzheimer's. She was born July 5, 1921, in New York City. Helen married Arthur Ornstein, who preceded her in death in 2000. Helen loved to knit, crochet and make beautiful needlepoint creations, some with tiny beads. Helen will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts. Helen is survived by her daughter, Janet Jacoby; son, Philip Ornstein; grandchildren, Michael (Stacey), Jeremy, Erik (Sarah) and Jill (Dennis); and great-grandchildren, Chandler, Ryan, Nathan, Nicole and Erika. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, at Bunkers Eden Vale Cemetery, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
