Irene Case Kiser, 97, passed away March 7, 2016, from natural causes. She was born June 5, 1918, the daughter of Fred A. Case Sr. and Sara Finan Case, in Cape May, N.J. Her family relocated to Hamlet, N.C., where she graduated from high school. Irene met Jack Kiser in 1940 in Charlotte, N.C., where they resided until moving to Las Vegas in 1962. They started their family with the birth of their first of three sons in 1941. Irene began work at Bank of Las Vegas in 1963 in the New Accounts Department, she retired over 20 years later at Valley Bank of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Kiser Sr., who passed away April 1993; brothers, Fred Case Jr., Jimmy Case and Jack Case; and sisters, Madge Myers and Peggy Downer, all who resided in North Carolina. She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Reggie, and wife, Lori, of Las Vegas, Jack Jr. and wife, Pat of Utah, and Fred and wife, Kelly of Phoenix; numerous nieces and nephews of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Irene most recently resided at As Time Goes By Assisted Living. A special thanks to the staff for their care and dedication.
