Irmgard Slinkard

Irma Slinkard, age 86, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Waldenburg, Germany, and later made a life centered around family, strength, and hard work.

Irma was a devoted wife to Gary Slinkard and a loving mother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She was known for being supportive, strong, and hardworking, always satisfying the needs of those she loved first. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a loving heart that touched everyone who knew her.

Irma worked for 25 years with AAFES, where she was known for her dedication and reliability. She took pride in her work and in providing for her family.

Those who knew Irma will remember her as determined and strong-willed — sometimes stubborn and hard-headed — but always guided by love and devotion to her family.

Irma’s greatest joy in life was caring for the people she loved. Her strength, warmth, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She leaves behind her beloved Sons, Grand and Great Grandchildren, and her loving family who will cherish her memory always.

Irma will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
