James Dale Frederickson

James Dale (Jim) Frederickson, age 77, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home in Las Vegas, on Friday September 3, 2021, due to kidney failure. Jim was born August 16, 1944 in Long Beach, CA to B.J. and Irma Frederickson, while B.J. was stationed at Pendleton Marine base, preparing to go to war. After growing up in the Sandhills of northern Nebraska, Jim graduated with an AA Degree from Antelope Valley J.C. in Lancaster, CA and attended Loyola University, Los Angeles. There, on August 12, 1967, he married Rita Ann Beckman, from Tucson, AZ. They enjoyed a loving 54 years together. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, BJ and Irma and two brothers, Dan and Chet. He is survived by his wife, Rita, daughter, Andrea and grandson, Ronan Allen, sister Peg (Chris) Ford, brother Jeff Frederickson, Uncle Fred (Colleen) Frederickson, and Aunt Fran Vandenbos, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jim will be remembered for his loving and generous nature along with a dry wit peppered with sage old sayings.

Services will be private but anyone wishing to honor his memory may donate to Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.
