Jeanne Marie Olson

JEANNE OLSON Jeanne Marie Olson, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 25, 2015, after a long illness. She was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Kansas City, Mo. She grew up in southern California and graduated from Jordon High School in Long Beach, Calif. She moved to Nevada in 1963. She worked for the Credit Bureau of Southern Nevada as their consumer relations manager for more than 20 years. She was an avid crafter and loved to travel and shop with her many friends. She was a "fighter" and was truly loved and admired by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Joy and Virginia Doherty. She is survived by her husband, of 44 years, Donald Olson; her sister, Patricia Rowe (Don); and son, Craig King; and daughter, Christy Piggott (David); and grandsons, Cameron and Casey Piggott. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Donations should be made to the C.A. Piggott Memorial Scholarship Fund at SilverState Schools CU.
