Heaven got an angel, you were ready for his love,

of Jesus our lord and savior, who guides us from above...

I could see your baby blues, just looking to the sky

At that very moment, it was time to say goodbye.

How we all have loved you, tears flowed like the rain

Yet in our hearts we felt it, no longer were you in pain.

To us, you were many things, a brother, a son, a dad,

a grandpa, a friend, an uncle, the best we ever had...

I know you are watching over us, with Jesus by your side

We did not want to lose you, we cried the day you died...

Please hold a place in heaven little brother, we love you so.

So many miss you dearly, God will let you know...

So many people will miss you, there will never be another.

I just know that I miss you, my sweet little brother...

I bet you get your wings soon, say hi to Dad and Mom.

One day we will be together again, our souls will be so calm...

Rest in the arms of Jesus, your time on earth is done.
