Jimmie Brown

Jimmie Brown, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 21, 2013. He was born April 13, 1950, in Newellton, La., and graduated from Rosenwald High School in Tensas, La. He was drafted into the U.S. Army. He later relocated to Las Vegas, where he as a bartender until his health failed him. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Brown Jr.; mother, Nancy B. Brown; brother, Tommy Brown; and son, Tyrone Brown. Jimmie is survived by his granddaughter, Jasime Emre; five sisters; five brothers; and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 2600 Clayton St., North Las Vegas.
