Jimmy Imperial

January 18, 1969 — November 12, 2013

Jimmy Imperial, 44, of Henderson, passed away Nov. 12, 2013, at home. He was born and raised in Neptune, N.J., and graduated from Neptune High School. He attended Brookdale Community College. After moving to Nevada, he always returned home to his beloved Jersey Shore to go fishing with his friends. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, snow boarding, golfing, cooking and watching football. He worked for over 20 years as a Teamster with Local 631 in Las Vegas, setting up trade-shows. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Inkeles; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Rose Imperial; and his aunt, Barbara Inkeles. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Joan Imperial of Neptune City; his brother, Joseph Imperial and his children, Bianca and Joseph, of Henderson; his sister, Jill Imperial of Neptune City; and his uncle and Godfather, Richard Inkeles and his son, Kevin O'Connor of Neptune. Jimmy also leaves behind a legion of friends, including, Anthony Crego, Steve Nagy and Peter Passalacqua. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Holy Innocents Church, Neptune. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to please make donations for a Memorial Fund being setup in Jimmy's honor c/o Jill Imperial, 1227 Holmes Court, Neptune City, NJ 07753.
