Joey Barnson

Joey Demar Barnson passed away April 25, 2017. He was born July 11, 1958, to Larry and Marvel "Pete" Barnson, in Las Vegas, where he was raised. He was preceded in death by his mother; his sister, Lori; and his niece, Evon. Joey is survived by his nephew, Christopher Barnson Reed, and his husband, Daryl Reed; his aunt, Katie Harper; his niece, Koni; his "brother," Kevin Breen; and "sister," Krystal Rodriguez; his half-sisters, Lezlie Barnson-DeNardin and Ginnie Barnson; and his father and stepmother, Larry and Kathy Barnson. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts and uncles from the Barnson, Harper and Stacy families; as well as many friends from all walks of life. Joey loved to play softball as he was growing up and enjoyed his main passion for golfing his entire life. He also had a great love for collecting any kind of autographed memorabilia over the years. Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
