John Gerard Grieco

John G. Grieco, 65 passed away on February 18, 2022 after a battle with COVID-19. John was born on February 23, 1956 to John and Ann Grieco in Hartsdale New York. As a boy John developed a love for music, especially the piano. This passion brought him all the way to USC where he studied music and graduated with a bachelors degree. John played keyboard and sang for several bands, touring the country eventually being drawn to the bright lights of Las Vegas. John was a career entertainer, playing in bands and shows all over the Las Vegas Strip. John also produced music out of his beloved home studio. While touring John met and fell in love with Cyndi Morrissey. The two married in 1983 and had two daughters, Amber and Alanna. John developed rheumatoid arthritis in his later years and had to give up his love of performing. Johns hobbies included gardening, cooking, and all things vintage. John is survived by his brother Bob, his daughters Amber and Alanna, and his six grandchildren. Services will be held at 12:00 on March 16, 2022 at Bunker Mortuary 925 N. Las Vegas Blvd.
