John Rose

John Rose, of Las Vegas, born Feb. 15, 1942, returned home Feb. 14, 2012 to be with his wife, Ava Ogata-Rose, who preceded him April 12, 2011. John and Ava were former employees of Las Vegas Review-Journal. He is survived by his brother, Bill (Carol) Rose and family of Arizona; and extended family in Hawaii and Minnesota. John spent his last month visiting his friends in Hawaii, California, and Nevada. Thank you to all of his wonderful co-workers and friends at the Review-Journal, San Jose Mercury News, Honolulu Star-Advertiser, State of Hawaii Agriculture and Measurement Standards, and others throughout the 50 states. No services are scheduled. Please celebrate John's life by living each day to the fullest, and enjoying time with family and friends.
