John was born in South Boston on February 3rd,1922. He resided in Las Vegas since 1975. He served in the U.S. Army-Air Corps in World War II,suffering a disability in a plane crash. He became a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and had a career of some 40 years as a civillian aircraft mechanic for the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 1987.
He is survived by his wife, Julia; daughter, Diane of Las Vegas;son, John and daughter-in-law, Catherine of Houston;sisters, Josephine, Frances, Pauline and Mary; and brother, Frank all of Plymouth, Mass.
Services were held on Monday, August 15th at Bunkers Mortuary.
