Jonna Marian Shapiro

Jonna Marian Shapiro, 82, a retiree of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. She was born May 20, 1933, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Jonna was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; son, Donald; and grandson, Daniel. She is survived by her children, David, Daniel, Leonard, Harold, Helen Armstrong-Shapiro and Paul Shapiro; her siblings, Helen Hojer and Hans Erik Frandsen of Denmark; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation was previously held Thursday, March 24, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, where Jonna will be reunited with her beloved husband. Jonna's memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will miss her greatly.
