Julie Ann (Orshoski) Keena

May 14, 1962 — January 19, 2018

Julie Keena entered this world on May, 14th 1962 in Brunswick, Maine to Robert and Fay Orshoski. Julie was the oldest of 3 children. She grew up in a military family, traveling to different countries most of her childhood. After her family settled in Las Vegas, NV Julie married and had 2 daughters, Jenna and Jodi. Julie was loved by all who met her. She had a love for fashion and always looked her best. Her shoe collection would give anyone a run for their money. Unfortunately, Julie fought a life-long battle against addiction. Several years ago, Julie began the journey of recovery. She was very proud of her accomplishments through the NA program with 7 years of sobriety. Her mother Fay who is her biggest fan would like other families who have a loved one fighting addiction to remember that it is a disease and not a choice and to be a solid support for that person. We will always remember her as someone with a beautiful, kind and loving spirit. We know Julie had a strong relationship with God and find comfort in knowing that she is in his hands. She is survived by her mother Fay Orshoski, Daughters Jenna White (Patrick White) and Jodi Keena, brother Mark Orshoski, Sister, Susan Schilder (Danny Schilder) grandchildren Gage and Peyton White, grandmother, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her two aunts. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Orshoski. Services for Julie will be held at Canyon Ridge Christian Church on February 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Canyon Ridge is located at 6200 W. Lone Mountain Rd 89130.
