Tribute to June Schnyder

Love leaves a memory that cannot be lost,

Our cherished, June Mary Schnyder, was called home into the benevolent hands of God on December 29, 2020. She left peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born to Elmo and Eugenia Cooper on April 22, 1932, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Throughout her life she worked at a variety of educational institutions as a receptionist for the Los Angeles School District.

She was preceded in death by her adoring husband Thomas Schnyder whom she married on November 7th, 1953, her son Thomas “Tommy” and her grandson Daniel.

She leaves behind her sister Avis, her son Gerald and his wife Tina, 4 grandchildren (Douane, Dean, Sean and Tracy) and 10 great-grandchildren.

June was an devout catholic that lived to serve her community, her family and her friends. She was compassionate and selfless to her last breath. She was never more full of joy than when she was with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a gentle and gracious soul by all who knew her.
