Karen Elaine Hankins

Karen Elaine Hankins (Kellough), 69, passed away following complications from surgery on November 24, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on September 16, 1956, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Roger and Betty (Speakman) Kellough.

Karen graduated from Logan Elm High School and spent most of her career working in bookkeeping. She approached her work with consistency and practicality throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Hankins; her children, Jonathon (Angela) Woltz, Heidi (Chris) Smith, and Krissy (Gary) Call; and her beloved grandchildren: Matthew (Susan) Woltz, Janie Woltz, Karlee Woltz, Justin (Judy) Smith, Tyler Smith, Andrew (Allison) Smith, Ryan (McKenna) Smith, Kyle Johnson, Nathan Johnson, and Cody Johnson, as well as three great-grandchildren.

Karen is also survived by her siblings Roger (Rona) Kellough, Joe Kellough, Bruce Kellough, James (Suzy) Kellough, and Chad (Brandi) Kellough, and brothers-in-law Richard Hankins, Phil (Kim) Hankins, and Brian Hankins, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Rhonda Kellough.

A private family gathering to honor and remember Karen will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada
