Kathryn Rowe

Kathryn Rowe, born Dec. 17, 1918 in Murphysboro, Ill., passed away June 8, 2012, at her home in Las Vegas. She was born to John Thomas and Rose Simons. Kathryn was married to, and preceded in death by Sidney Rowe. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Armstrong and preceded in death by her brother, Harold Simons of Illinois. In addition, Kathryn is survived by her sisters-in-law, Doris Doss, Karma Wimsatt and Genevieve Simons; and many nieces and nephews on both sides of her family. She will be missed by many. Kathryn will have a viewing 5-9 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. Kathryn's services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, at the Polara Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1725 Polara (Desert Inn and Maryland Parkway).
