Kathy Johnson

Kathy Johnson, age 66 of Irvington, passed away peacefully in her family home in Irvington on Monday, March 10, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Saturday, March 29th at 2 PM. Inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Las Vegas at a later date. Lentz Funeral Home of Algona is assisting the family.

Kathy Craig Johnson, the daughter of George and Florence (Hardesty) Craig, was born on September 6, 1958 in North Ridge, California. She graduated from high school in 1967 and then attended trade school to become a CNA. Kathy was united in marriage to Roland Johnson on November 24, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada, joining their families together. Kathy enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, refrigerator magnets, crosses, cats and kittens, and recipes, both good and bad.

Left to cherish Kathy’s memory is her husband, Roland Johnson, of Irvington; children, Anthony (Karla) Nicosia of Littleton, CO, Jeffery (Sue) Nicosia of Henderson, NV, Catherine Morgan of Britt, Shelby (Damian) Thornton of Bode, Barbara (Mike) Casey of Lu Verne, Stevenie Johnson of Lu Verne, Steve (Robin) Johnson of Camron, MO, and Paul (Angela) Johnson of Algona; 32 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; and siblings, Dorothy Egnew of Tulsa, OK, Jeff (Sheryl) McClean of Henderson, NV, Jodi Stanford of Henderson, NV, and Diana Bouck of Las Vega, NV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence; daughter, Judy Morgan; sister, Donna Barrett; and son-in-law, Mike Casey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Kathy.
