Louisiana to Rayfield Travis Sr. and Pearlie Mae Lewis. Trina grew up
in Las Vegas, Nevada where she was raised by her dad Jimmy Woods
III and mom Pearlie Woods. When Trina was a small child, a dear
family friend named Dorothy Hampton brought Pearlie and Trina to
visit the Victory Missionary Baptist Church pastored by Rev. A.J.
Thompson. They soon became members of the church and Trina gave
her life to Christ. Trina was active member of the youth choir. During
school her favorite sport was basketball and she loved to draw pictures.
Trina attended Rancho and Chaparral High School in Las Vegas,
Nevada. She loved to make people laugh. During her life she always
tried to lend a helping hand to others in needs.
After high school she worked at many different Las Vegas Resorts on
the Strip were she provided excellent customer service to tourist and
local guests.
During her employed time at the Wynn Las Vegas, she saved a woman’s
life by providing medical attention and stayed by her side until
help arrived. The guest was quoted saying, “Katrina excelled not just
as an employee, but also as a human being.” Later she was named,
“The Savior” around the resort. Trina was presented with the Employee
