Lawrence Brown

Lawrence Brown, "Tuff," of North Las Vegas, was the son of the late Mr. L. T. and Mrs. Emma Brown. He was born July 12, 1957, in Chicago. He finished his course Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. Lawrence leaves fond and loving memories to his wife, Deborah J. Brown; three sons, Dante Brown, Lawrence (Brittney) Brown Jr. and James Brown of Chicago; two stepsons, Cedric (Danette) Parks and Clyde Hooper of Las Vegas; three daughters, Chandra Brown, LaDonna Brown and Makicisa Brown of Chicago; three brothers, Rodney Brown of Maywood, Ill., Gregory Brown of Minneapolis and Darryl Brown of Chicago; two sisters, Hellener (Lawrence) Holland of Lombard, Ill. and Beverly (James) Willis of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; one Godson, DeAngelo Swift of North Las Vegas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing will be 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, NV 89011.
