Hello friends and family.
We are sad to announce the passing of a dear soul - Lee Sutton.
A military man, husband and father, friend to many.
Born in MD, 1943 – passing on May 4, 2025, in NLV NV.
He had a brief, but severe illness, surrounded by family and friends in his final passing hours. His final moments were with his love, his wife, his partner, Mary Lou.
He is survived by wife; his 4 children, Brenda, Eric, Marc, and Adam; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; as well as extended family sons, Jason and Keith. Preceded in death by his father Francis, his mother Elizabeth, and his dog Zoey, all of whom he cherished deeply.
Lee was a Vietnam veteran. He was very patriotic and often conversed with other patriots he discovered during his everyday activities. He always wore his hat, like other patriots, and always spoke with great joy to others who served. He loved God, he loved his country, and he loved his Mary Lou.
Some of Lee's military medals, delights, and assignments:
Awarded Medals: Vietnam Service Medal, Airforce Commendation, and many others
Favorite aircrafts: B-52, KC-135, F-16, F-15, C-124
Assignments: Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Okinawa, Clovis AFB, Dover AFB, Plattsburgh AFB, as well as our local Nellis AFB.
He enjoyed adventure and experiences; he loved sharing the many wonders placed on this earth for us. If you've seen his wall, you know he was a great lover of travel and friends. For many years, he and his beautiful bride rode numerous times across the USA. He also loved to build furniture. The joy of learning, creation, and sharing. Like the wall, his backyard is a sight to see. Not just for his furniture building, but the environment created for his friends to join and gather.
As many would agree, if you were a friend of Lee's, it was a privilege. He was a loyal friend and quick to help those he cared about ...and he could fix just about anything. He was a kind and generous man.
