Leroy Kuhlmey

LEROY KUHLMEY LeRoy Herbert Kuhlmey passed away May 12, 2011, at the age of 96. He was born Dec. 25, 1914, in Minneapolis. In 1938, he married Marge M. Sienko, the love of his life. They were married for 60 years before she passed away in 2000. He was a lifelong Pipefitter with Minneapolis Local 539. He and Marge raised their three children on their farm before moving to Las Vegas in 1973. Roy is survived by his two sons, Roderick Kuhlmey of Las Vegas, and Brad Kuhlmey of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Alan Shields of Las Vegas; six grandchildren, Rachelle Church (John), Bill Kuhlmey (Dawna) Michelle Stephens (Dion), Shawna Shields-Coovert (Jim), Rebecca White (Arthur) and Larry Shields; 15 great-grandchildren, Jake and Amber Church, Kyle Kuhlmey, Michael Witt, Stephen Ashley, Danielle Stephens, Brittney and Joshua Green, Kris and Jessica Coovert, Trevor, Alexis and Nathan Tuggle, and Dustin and Shelbi White; and great-great-grandchildren, Jade and Jersey White, and soon-to-be-born, Grayson Tuggle. Arrangements are private.
