Linda Faye (Bell) Stevenson

Reflection of Life

Linda Faye (Bell) Stevenson was born in Marshall, Texas county of Harrison, to the loving parents of George Curtis Bell Sr. and Lois Irene Bell. On March 02, 1952, the world was blessed by her birth.  Linda departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She is one of six children.

Linda was raised in a loving home. She received and confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age.  Her family moved to Los Angeles, California when she was very young.

Linda received her education in the Los Angeles County public school system.  She graduated from John C. Fremont Senior High School located in South Los Angeles.  She attended the University of Phoenix Nevada, she graduated at the top of her class with a “Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.”

Linda was a caring, compassionate, kind and selfless individual.  She had a humble spirit that enabled her to communicate and work well with people on all levels.  She was well-respected and trusted by all who knew her.  She was a role-model for the young people.  Always encouraging them to serve God, do well, work hard, get a good education, and become the best person that you can be.  In the work place, Linda conducted herself with Integrity, Dedication, and Character throughout every step of her distinguished career with the Santa Ana Unified School District for 20 years.  Her work ethic was admirable, and she set High Standards for her Peers, while working tirelessly.

Linda then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in December 1992. Shortly after moving to Las Vegas she began her career with Pepsi Cola North America as a Trade Account Coordinate for 17 years, she continued to strive for excellence.

Linda joined Christ Holy Sanctified Church under the leadership of Bishop Herman Ishmael upon moving to the Las Vegas valley.  Later she joined Monument of Faith Ministries under the leadership of Dr. Levi Young until his health failed.  She was ordained as a Pastor in 2005.  In 2016 she joined Lighthouse Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Carol A.C. Green.  Linda was a woman that exemplified the meaning of devotion.  She was dedicated to her family and friends, willing to help in any way she could.

Linda later met and united in holy matrimony to Bruce Stevenson, Bishop on January 03, 1996.  They later founded and established True Life Tabernacle of Faith under the leadership of Bishop Bruce Stevenson.  Where she was the Pastor.

Linda is the founder and President of Maidens of Holiness/Women of Virtue (MOHWOV), a ministry inspired by God and birthed through much pain.  Maidens of Holiness/Women of Virtue is an organization that strives to empower women of all races and backgrounds.

Preceding her in death are her mother, three siblings, and daughter: Lois I. Bell, Clifton D. Bell, Jeannette M. Bell, and George C. Bell Jr., and Kara Lynn Lorthridge.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband Bishop Bruce Stevenson.; a loving father George C. Bell Sr. of Oceanside, CA.; One daughter Alisha R. Adams, one step-daughter Kamyha Stevenson  both of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers James C. Lowe (Lena) of Lancaster, TX, Kevin D. Bell of Norwalk, CA, Andre L. Bell (Shasta) of Los Angeles, CA; two aunts Laverne Dunn of  Texas, Alta Faye Crawford of Los Angeles, CA; two grand-daughters Briana D. Dillihunt of Las Vegas, NV, Jaclynn J. Adams of Lawton, OK; one special and dear friend Apostle Carol A. Green of Las Vegas, NV, and a host of other relatives and friends.
