Lisa Ann Rainford

Lisa Ann Rainford, 67 of Las Vegas passed away Monday September 19, 2022.

Lisa was born in Compton, California in 1955 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962. Lisa was proceeded in death by her parents Leon & Louise. She is survived by her husband William Rainford; her children Luann Wilson, Christina Hood, and William Rainford Jr.; grandchildren Sydney Hood, Thomas Hood, and Sofia Rainford; her sister Patricia Huston; and many more loving family and friends.

Lisa was a light to her family and her community.  She was a doting mother and grandmother, both to those by blood and to every friend. She was the ultimate cheerleader and cheered for everyone as her own child.  She loved scrapbooking and preserving the family moments that were so important to her.  This led her to form beautiful friendships with fellow scrapbookers. These ladies have been her best friends for over the past 20 years. She also loved cruising the world and winning a coveted ship on a stick. She also loved to garden and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and Las Vegas Golden Knights.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you to support the youth in your community, especially local Scout troops or youth sports teams. Throughout the year purchase an extra box of Girl Scout Cookies or Scout Popcorn and Nuts, purchase a Scout Camp Card, support a sport team’s car wash, or donate to the Camp Fund for Scout Troop 149.
