In Loving Memory of Lorraine Veronica Sanchez,

Our dear friend Lorraine Veronica Sanchez passed away peacefully in her home of over 45 years here in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday October 28, 2023 at the age of 98. Lorraine was born on December 7, 1924 in Chicago IL, and moved to Las Vegas in 1973 with her husband Francis Sanchez. Francis and Lorraine owned and operated Sanchez Studios for many years here in Las Vegas. Lorraine was an artist, and a business woman. Lorraine had a deep love for the Bible and its author Jehovah God. She was an active Witness for Jehovah since the age of 16 when she first started studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. She in turn shared what she learned with many Bible students thereafter, studying with over 30 students at one time in her life and helped many to dedicate their lives to Jehovah as she had done. Lorraine was a beacon of strength and resilience, having navigated many challenges through her long life with grace and dignity. Her spirit was a testament to her strong will and her unwavering faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. We long for the time when “God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” Revelation 21:3,4

Lorraine was the last surviving member of her family.

She leaves behind, many friends who knew her and benefitted from her faithful service to her God Jehovah.

Memorial Services for Lorraine will be held at the

Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2520 E Patrick Lane Las Vegas, NV 89120 on Saturday November 18th at 1:00 pm.

The Paradise Valley Congregation will be hosting the service.
