Lorraine Woodbury

April 20, 1930 — September 27, 2021

Lorraine Woodbury passed away quietly in her sleep the morning of September 27, 2021 after a long illness.

On April 20, 1930 she was born in Cedar City, Utah to Arthur Hartley Woodbury and Harriet Arvilla Ford.

Lorraine married Gary Pollock on June 8, 1949 in the St. George temple. They had three beautiful children together. They were later divorced.

Lorraine had a great sense of humor. She made everyone laugh and was so fun to be around. She loved to travel and go country dancing. She had a talent for decorating and had a beautiful home.

She is survived by her daughter Kathryn P. Saunders of Las Vegas, Nevada; son Keven G Pollock (Shirley) of Riverside, Utah; son Ricky W. Pollock (Lori) of Wells, Nevada; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren; sister-in-law Marrianne Woodbury; many nieces and nephews; and her little dog "Baby".

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Clair F. Woodbury, Clayton H. Woodbury, Richard L. Woodbury and her sisters Irene W. Pollock, Carol W. Pollock, and Helen W. Beatty.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Harmony Hospice for the care they gave to Lorraine. A special thank you also goes to Dottie Gomez who is a special angel and was like a sister to Lorraine. Dottie spent many days and hours taking care of all of Lorraine's needs the last few months of her life.

Lorraine was loved by us—we will miss her until we see her again.

She wished to be cremated and her ashes buried next to her sister Carol Pollock and brother-in-law D. Jack Pollock. Graveside services will be in Orem, UT.
