Luciano Blanco, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in El Zape, Durango, Mexico on January 07, 1944. He migrated to the United States in 1975 with his family following him. He was a very kind and loving person, he loved his family, always taking care of them, he was always there for them. He loved spending time and playing with the grandchildren, making them laugh and making memories. Whether it was a video camera or photo camera, he was there capturing that very special memory of family and friends.
He was a hard worker, never gave up, he was a fighter, finding ways to survive and be ahead for his family. He founded his business in gardening and landscaping in Los Angeles, California and retired in Las Vegas in 2001 where he worked part time in the service industry for a few years. Anywhere he went he met a new friend and loved to help others when they needed a hand. He was a spiritual father to others giving advice or a kind word of wisdom to those who needed it.
Luciano was preceded in death by his mother Manuela Blanco, his brothers Maximino “Chimino” Ibarra, Javier Blanco, and Roberto Miller.
Luciano is survived by his wife, Maria Blanco of 61 years, children Yolanda Loera, Efrain Blanco, Jorge A. Blanco, and Maribel Blanco. 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and son/daughter in-laws, and friends.
Luciano Blanco, amado esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo, falleció pacíficamente el viernes 26 de diciembre de 2025, rodeado de sus seres queridos. Nació en El Zape, Durango, México, el 7 de enero de 1944. Emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1975, y su familia lo siguió poco después. Era una persona muy amable y cariñosa, amaba a su familia y siempre cuidaba de ellos, siempre estaba ahí para ellos. Le encantaba pasar tiempo y jugar con sus nietos, haciéndolos reír y creando recuerdos inolvidables. Ya fuera con una cámara de video o una cámara de fotos, siempre estaba presente capturando esos momentos tan especiales con su familia y amigos.
Era un trabajador incansable, nunca se rendía, era un luchador que siempre encontraba la manera de salir adelante para su familia. Fundó su negocio de jardinería y paisajismo en Los Ángeles, California, y se jubiló en Las Vegas en 2001, donde trabajó a tiempo parcial en el sector de servicios durante algunos años. Dondequiera que iba, hacía nuevos amigos y le encantaba ayudar a los demás cuando lo necesitaban. Fue un padre espiritual para muchos, brindando consejos y palabras de sabiduría a quienes lo necesitaban.
A Luciano le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Manuela Blanco, y sus hermanos Maximino “Chimino” Ibarra, Javier Blanco y Roberto Miller.
A Luciano le sobreviven su esposa, María Blanco, con quien compartió 61 años de matrimonio; sus hijos Yolanda Loera, Efrain Blanco, Jorge A. Blanco y Maribel Blanco; 14 nietos, ocho bisnietos, sobrinos y sobrinas, yernos y nueras, y amigos.
