Madge Arellano

MADGE ARELLANO Madge I. Arellano, 84, a retired status board operator, of Las Vegas, passed away April 12, 2011. She was born Oct. 18, 1926, in San Francisco, Calif., and resided in Nevada for 57 years. A Pearl Harbor Survivor and an aircraft builder during the war, later moved to Las Vegas and worked in the Hospitality Trades. She was preceded in death by parents, Stewart Alleman and Madeline Alleman. She is survived by her sister, Muriel Zech of Texas; Robert of Mississippi, Roy of Las Vegas, Michael of Las Vegas, and Madeline of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd., North.
