Maranee B. Neilson

NEILSON Maranee Bleak Neilson, 77, a devoted homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 25, 2012. She was born July 23, 1935, in Pioche, and was a life-long resident of Nevada. She married Donald L. Neilson Sept. 17, 1952, and cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Maranee was loved by everyone who met her, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma Bleak; sister, Charlene; and daughter, Brenda Lee Neilson. She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Neilson; son, Donald Brent Neilson; daughter-in-law, Alene Neilson; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and three brothers. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas. There will be a second visitation 5-6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, with funeral services following, at LDS Chapel, Evergreen Ward, 221 S. Lorenzi St., Las Vegas. Burial will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Panaca Cemetery in Panaca.
