Margaret S. Van Hoove, 72, a retired employee of Senator Reid's office, of Las Vegas, passed away April 6, 2013. She was born June 23, 1940, in Santa Fe, N.M., and was a 43-year resident of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Van Hoove; mother, Pansy Tarango; and brother, John Tarango. She is survived by her son, Steven Van Hoove and his wife, Lori; stepson, John Van Hoove Jr. and his wife, Jerilynn; three sisters, Virginia Deihl, Theresa Elmore and Yolanda Tarango; and three grandkids. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m., Thursday, April 11. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, April 12, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas N. Graveside services following at Memory Garden Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
