Mary E. Wharram

Mary Elizabeth Wharram, 68, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 11. 2011. She was born Dec. 10, 1942, in San Antonio, and resided in Nevada for 41 years. Mary was married for 32 years and had three children and four grandchildren. Mary was a beautiful, gentle, devoted, loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, reading and sewing but most of all spending time with her family and friends. Mary was loved by all who knew her. She worked in the security division of American Express for several years. She also worked for Metro PD in the records department and Bally's security until retirement. She was preceded in death by her son, Casey A. Wharram; parents, John N. Hatch and Hildagard Hatch; and brothers, Donald A. Hatch and Thomas N. Hatch. Mary is survived by daughters, Cynthia, (Richard) Pierce and Linda (Bryan) Pardoe; grandchildren, Bryce A. Pierce, Haley A. Pierce, Jayden T. Pierce and Kyndal F. Pardoe; brother, John Hatch; sister Loraine, (Robert) White; fiance, Donald K. Lazard; several nieces and nephews; and ex-husband/friend, Andrew W. Wharram. Visitation will be 9 - 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, with memorial service to follow, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd., North. Graveside services to follow memorial service.
