Mary Ann Grant, 86, of Las Vegas, passed away April 3, 2012. She was born June 25, 1925 in Rome, N.Y., and was an 18-year resident of Nevada. Mary Ann was a successful real estate broker in Northridge, Calif., where she owned her own real estate company. After retirement, she and the love of her life, Stan Grant, a retired parts manager for Baher Chevrolet in Northridge moved to Las Vegas in 1994. After surviving the first and second earthquakes in Northridge, they didn't want to wait for the third. She was very proud of her Italian heritage and was active in the Italian Club in Northridge and Las Vegas. She enjoyed time with family and friends and visiting local casinos. She was an excellent Italian cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Mary Del Pico; and two sisters, Ann DeAngelo, Jen DePalma, and Teresa Pellam. She is survived by her husband, Stan; children, Ray Blaum of Lake City, Colo. and Donna Payne of Fairfield, N.J.; three brothers, Tony, Tom, and Joe Del Pico of Rome, N.Y.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many good friends and neighbors.
