MARYLUE TURPIN Marylue B. Turpin, 70, passed away peacefully May 5, 2014, in Las Vegas. Born in Cedar City, Utah, Sept. 1, 1943, she grew up in southern Utah, as well as Las Vegas. She was a skilled chef and worked for many years in several restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. Her marriage to James Robert Adams "Cricket" ended in divorce in 1984. Her second husband, Doyle Harlan Turpin died in 1991. She is survived by her daughter and sons, Cindylue Thurston, James Adams and Roberts Adams; nine grandchildren, Steven, Robby, Brycen, Chad, Tiffany, Tyler, Jordan, Megan and Baily; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey, Brayden and Cameron. Viewing and visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. There will be a second visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, followed by memorial services and a celebration of Marylue's life, all at the LDS Chapel, 155 E. 1050 N., Hurricane, Utah.
