Matala Gago

MATALA GAGO Matala Siluafaga Paoakalani Gago was born Oct. 27, 1982 in Torrance, Calif., to Sam and Yasmin. After fighting a courageous battle with bone cancer, she was called home on Sunday, Sept. 23 from Las Vegas. She is survived by her parents, Sampson Fa'aleava Salanoa Gago and Yasmin Victoria Hannemann; siblings, April-Love, Sina, Malosi, Shastian, Tulima, Mahina, Vaiolini, Kina'u, Tama, Berlin, Tausili and Alema. Viewing is 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2245 Lindell Rd. Funeral services follow. A luncheon will be provided immediately following the service. Burial will be at Bunkers Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Rd.
