Miriam Joyce Zehnder passed away on July 6, 2026, in Henderson, Nevada. She was

born on October 10, 1939, in Champaign, Illinois.

Known to all as Joyce, she was full of life and energy, with a warmth that drew people to

her. Family always came first — she was the first to show up when someone was in need,

offering her hands, her time, and her heart without hesitation. In the 1980s, Joyce

worked as a cocktail waitress at the Mint Casino in downtown Las Vegas, part of the

classic era of the city she would call home for decades. She later made her home in Sun

City Anthem in Henderson, Nevada, where she spent her years surrounded by her

children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Teresa Martinez.

Joyce is survived by her children: Kenny Tucker, Debbie Baker, Rob Reber, Diana

Undergust, and John Zehnder; her 10 grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren; and

her extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Bunker's Mortuary,

925 Las Vegas Blvd North, Las Vegas, Nevada, followed by the funeral service at 10:00

a.m. Burial will take place at 12:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W Lone

Mountain Road, Las Vegas, Nevada.
