It is with heavy hearts that we bid a final farewell to Pablo Molles. He died peacefully at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife and sons at his side. Pablo lived a full and vibrant life in eight different cities over his 90 years. He was deeply committed to his family and career in the military. Pablo will be forever missed.
Pablo was born on Camotes Island, Philippines to Victoriano Molles and Maxima Palomas. He grew up as the youngest of three children. His humble beginnings spurred big dreams. Pablo lived in Manila, Philippines, for a short while before going to America. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1960.
On September 24, 1966, Pablo married the love of his life, Conchita A. Miranda. They had met six years prior at a wedding. Pablo was attending, but was also working as a driver chauffeuring guests. One of his passengers was Conchita and her sister. He left for the Navy shortly after the event.
When Pablo returned to the Philippines while on leave from the Navy 6 years later, he looked for Conchita. He found her and they were both still. single. Pablo proposed and they got married before he returned to the United States. They were separated for one year before Conchita joined Pablo in America.
The couple’s first child, Ron, arrived on April 1969. A second boy, Kenneth, joined their lives on October 1970, completing the happy family. Their lives were full of adventure, with the family living in major cities across the United States.
In 1972, Pablo bought his first home. He retired eight years later from the U.S. Navy and settled in San Diego, California. In San Diego Pablo took a job in food services. He joined the San Diego County Sheriff's Department in 1981 and worked there until 1997.
Pablo worked hard throughout his career to provide for his family. He ultimately succeeded and lived what some would call The American Dream. In 2001, he and Conchita moved to Las Vegas, one of his long time dreams. He spent the rest of his days there, enjoying the adventure that is Vegas.
