Patricia R. Davis

Patricia R. Davis, 84, passed away May 5, 2015, at her home in Las Vegas, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was cherished by her family and will be deeply missed. Patricia was born in St. Louis, and later moved to Hollywood, Calif. with her mother, where she learned tap dancing and appeared as a dancer in two movies. At the age of 15, she moved to Henderson, where she met and married Glen Davis at the age of 16. They devoted their lives to raising three children in Las Vegas. Many of her years were spent as a housewife, however, she also modeled for Holliday Models of Las Vegas in her mid-30's. Patricia had a great sense of humor, an unforgettable smile, and an enduring love of animals. Above all else, she deeply loved, and lived her life for, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Davis; her parents; sister, and her daughter, Deborah Lee (Larry). She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Davis; daughter, Janet Shugart (James ); grandchildren, Jennifer Cannon (Michael), Michael Lee, Jessica Zeilman (Mark), Kristina Nancarrow (Steve), Olivia Boyle (Mike Biondo), Danielle Davis; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
