Patricia Reed

Patricia Diane Reed was born on December 9, 1949, in Detroit Michigan and quietly passed in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 8, 2023.

On July 28, 1984 she married the love of her life, Dr. Mark Reed in Detroit.  She graduated BSN – Wayne State University and had 40 years as a practicing RN.  She completed her nursing career working with her husband here in Las Vegas after many varied hospital nursing positions.

Patricia greatly enjoyed working with and helping people during her long and varied career as a nurse. She also enjoyed her Book Club, travelling and cruising the world, wine and cheese parties and entertaining. She could throw a party!

She always tried to find the good in people and was not judgmental.  A big smile and kind words were her trademarks.  She will be greatly missed by all of us.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Mark Reed; daughters, Dr. Nicole Scripps and Danielle Reed; grandsons, Kasen Scripps and Kolby Scripps; and Suzanne, Pat, Jenny, Laura, Shannon and Heather, sisters and nieces.

Her Book Club friends were near and dear to her in addition to family.
