Pauline Checha

Pauline Bridgman Checha, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2016. Pauline was 93 years old. She was born Feb. 2, 1923, in Bloomington, Ill. After serving three years in the Women's Army Corps (WAC), she moved to Oakland, Calif., where she met and married Walter Bridgman. After a short time, they relocated to Las Vegas, where they made their permanent home and raised their three daughters, eldest daughter, Karen Ericsson (Jim), Kathy Bridgman and Walline Goodell (Gary). Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kistian Lamb and Kelly Christensen (Troy); and two great-grandchildren, Cole and Rilee Christensen. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; 12 siblings; husbands, Walter Bridgman and Milon Checha. Viewing will begin at 11 a.m., with service following at noon, Wednesday, Nov. 30, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Graveside service following at Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
